No fewer than 47 Students of Daru Sunnah Islamic Center, Akure, Ondo State, have completed the memorization of the holy Qur’an.
To this end, a graduation ceremony was organized in their honour at the weekend which was graced by dignatories from far and near.
Prominent among them include the Chief Imam of Owo & Chairman, league of Imams and Alfas, Ondo state, Shaykh Ahmad Aladesawe , Chief Imam of Akure, Shaykh AbdulHakeem Akorede and the Founder of the School, Dr. Idrees Lukman Shekoni, among others.
In his Goodwill message at the Ceremony, Shaykh Ahmad Aladesawe extolled the virtues of Dr. Idrees Shekoni for his commitment towards the growth of Islam
Alhaji Aladesawe who was a guest of a father of one of the Graduands, Alhaji Kamarudeen Ishola of OSRC Media group also blessed the graduands Spiritually & Financially.
Also speaking, the Chief Imam of Akure, Alhaji Abdulhakeem Akorede encouraged Muslim Parents to groom their children Islamically.
Highlights of the event include Lecture and Quranic recitation by the graduands including the Son of Alhaji Kamarudeen Ishola, Hafis Ridwanullah Ishola.
