…Urges Parents to prioritize home training and proper education
As Children’s Day is celebrated across Nigeria, the ODHA majority leader, Honourable Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, has extended wishes and hope for every child. As a father who adores his own children, he stresses the importance of parents living up to their responsibilities and training them to be useful for society.
The majority leader said, “For everything we achieve on earth, the only legacy we live behind are our children who carry on the legacy; my heart goes out to all the wonderful children God has blessed every parent with.” While today happens to be children’s day, it should not be the only day we celebrate our kids, but at all times, instill discipline and proper education into them.
In the wake of sending shout-outs to kids, the majority leader urges every parent to be more accountable and ensure no child is treated above the other. “Parents must teach their children equally and recognize that every child has a unique ability.” Finally, the majority leader promises to continue to reach out to as many children as possible, as he has always done through his foundation, which has provided educational opportunities.
