Mummy’s Place Founder, Dr. Oshin Bags NVMA Excellence in Entrepreneurship & Leadership Award



Dr. ‘Lola Oshin, Proprietress, Mummy’s Place School was on Saturday, honoured with Entrepreneurship and Leadership Award as the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, (NVMA) Ondo State chapter marked this year’s World Veterinary Day.

The award according to the organizers is in recognition of her contributions to the development of the society.

The Chairman of the Planning Committee, Rotn. (Dr.) Adegboyega Obadua while congratulating all the awardees said they were carefully selected because they have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields of endeavour and made a mark.

In her response, Dr. Oshin said the award will again serve as an impetus to do more.

Other major highlight of the annual event include a lecture on the theme: Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness in the Veterinary Profession, by Prof. Isaac Adebayo who used the opportunity to.explore the need to address levels of discrimination due to cultural and gender issues as well as the need for inclusiveness of the professionals in national security among others.

According to the Chairman, NVMA Ondo State, Dr. Ayodeji Badejo, the event was put together to further the cause of the professionals not only in the area of animal protection but also in preserving public health and to honour eminent Nigerians who have made remarkable contributions to the development of the larger society.
