10th Assembly: I’m Confident New Ondo Speaker, Deputy Will Deliver – Rt Hon. Ogunmolasuyi

Rt Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, the majority leader of the 9th Ondo House of Assembly, who has just been returned as the leader of the 10th Assembly, has expressed confidence that both the new speaker and his deputy will deliver on their responsibility to the people of the State.

Ogunmolasuyi made the assertion in a statement on Monday.

He further expressed gratitude to the people of Owo constituency 1 and Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, as well as the APC chair, Ade Adetimehin, for supporting his return bid to the House of Assembly.

He said,

“I am grateful for the process and confident the house is good to go. I believe every member represents their constituency’s voice, leaving them with no option but to commit to the progress of Ondo State.

“On this note, I congratulate the newly elected leader in the person of Rt Hon Oladiji Olamide (Speaker) and Rt Hon Abayomi Akinruntan (Deputy Speaker). The members believe in your ability to direct and make laws suitable for our beloved state. Furthermore, let me assure you of my full support and willingness to always answer whenever my service is needed for any good purpose. We have always been united and will continue to be as the wellness of our beloved state remains paramount.

“I would also like to use this moment to give all the glory to Almighty God, I appreciate the entire Owo Constituency 1, who were happy to give me another chance to serve again. Special appreciation to our amiable Mr. Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, for your constant advice and support. I am grateful, sir. Let me appreciate the APC state chairman Engr Ade Adetimehin, APC local government chairmen, APC ward chairmen, and all my political leaders across the state whom have been with me since the movement started.

“Finally, I want to assure the great people of Owo Constituency 1 that this is the beginning of good things to come. As my watchword says, humility at all times and service to the people. It can only get better. I also urge every Ondo indigenes to support the House of Assembly and let us know your thoughts concerning crucial matters. We are always ready to listen to all your recommendations and advise,” the statement read.
