The Ondo State Police command on Saturday evening confirmed that the Chief Imam of Uso in Owo Local Government Area of the State is missing.
According to a terse message obtained by Precision from the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmi Odunlami, the Police and Vigilantes are reportedly combing the area in order to locate him.
“At about 6pm today, a report was made at Uso Divisional HQ, that the Chief Imam of Uso went to his farm in the morning and did not return.
“He was later traced to the farm by his people, where they saw his phone and vehicle intact but couldn’t find the man.
“The DPO and his men with local vigilantes are currently in the bush to trace/found the where about of the man,” the message read.
