Ondo: Prince Oluleke Ogunlade Emerges New Ibule-Soro Monarch

Prince Oluleke Ogunlade is the new Olubule of Ibule-Soro in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Prince Ogunlade emerged the monarch of the town on Wednesday, after years of vacancy.

Princess Moyinoluwa Falowo, who has been in charge as a regent in the last couple of years, made the disclosure on her Facebook profile on Thursday.

She wrote:

Yesterday marked the long-awaited election of our Oba. I extend my congratulations to Prince Oluleke Ogunlade, who has emerged as the new Olubule of Ibule-Soro. May his reign be marked by longevity and prosperity.

While it is true that there is an ongoing lawsuit filed at the Appeal Court challenging the composition of the Kingmakers who participated in the election, I implore everyone to maintain a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere while the matter is resolved in court. As a neutral observer, I can only hope for a just outcome based on the truth.

As I prepare to pass the torch of leadership to our new Olubule, I feel an immense sense of fulfillment knowing that our community will now be guided by a King. This marks a significant milestone in the development of Ibule-Soro. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the sons and daughters of Ibule-Soro as we embark upon this new era.
