Rt. Hon. Adeleke Collins Olagundoye, a Governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of Ondo 2024 gubernatorial race, at the weekend paid a visit to Mainland Hospital Ore, where survivors of recent Fuel Tanker explosion are receiving treatment.
Olagundoye also visited the scene of the explosions at Ore, in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo state, where not fewer than 30 lives, including a pregnant woman and a little child lost their lives.
The Grassroots for Good Governance Initiative brainchild, was touched beyond expression at the level of carnage and destruction of human lives and properties the explosions has caused, he expressed his deepest sympathy for the survivors and wished them a quick recovery from this undesired calamity and losses.
He condoled with the families of the deceased and shared in their grief at this troubled time.
Rt. Hon. Adeleke, however determined in his heart at the scene of this disaster to change the face of Ondo State Fire Service with a rebranding to fit in the global best practice. He said rebranding is necessary so as to mitigate against future occurrences of this magnitude by responding immediately to such emergency with high-tech equipment, if given the mantle of governorship in Ondo state.
