In recognition of his humanitarian services, the Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Oladiji Olamide Adesanmi has received an award of excellence from the Rotary Club of Akure, Rotary lnternational.
While speaking glowingly at this year’s lnvestiture and award ceremony in Akure, the President, Rotary Club of Akure, Rotarian ldiat Olamide lbrahim described Rt Honourable Oladiji as an influencer whose Midas touches cut across several facets of humanity.
While describing the Rt. Honourable Speaker as a politician with a difference The Rotarian President noted that his footprints are glaring to everyone.
” Through his numerous projects, Rt. Honourable Oladiji has been able to touch several lives especially the indigent ones within and beyond his immediate constituency.”
“I have no doubt that his current position as Speaker would further enable him to impact positively on the entire citizenry of Ondo State.”
While urging Rt. Honourable Oladiji to continue his distinguished services to humanity, the Rotarian President called on other politicians and well meaning individuals to come to the aid of the less privileged ones in the society as this is the only way to make life worth living for everyone.
In his response, the Rt. Honourable Speaker said he was further encouraged by the award to continue to live his life for the betterment of the people..
He promised to use his current position as Speaker to further enhance the delivery of democracy dividends to the people.
The annual lnvestiture and award ceremony of the Rotary Club of Akure attracted dignitaries from various walks of life.
