The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, CP Asabi Abiodun psc, has condemned the attack on Dr Adebunmi OSADAHUN, who is also the Commissioner for Women Affairs in the State.
A statement on Sunday night by Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, noted that preliminary investigation revealed that the Commissioner was in the Akoko area to see to the distribution of food palliatives of the Government.
The investigation further revealed that she was attacked by an assailant named Awolumate Olumide, while having a meeting with some of their Party members in the Area.
“The CP has ordered that a thorough investigation be carried out and the case transferred to the SCID, Akure for further probe into what led to the Assault,” the statement read.
