Amid rumour of incapacitation, a video of the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has surfaced online.
The 22 seconds video which was posted on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, was however not with an audio.
In the video, Akeredolu was seeing with Governors of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde: that of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-olu; Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji and Ogun, Dapo Abiodun.
An independent analysis of the video showed an Akeredolu who sat on a chair, while engaging in discussion with his colleagues.
Due to the nonexistent of an audio in the video posted, one couldn’t deduce what the Governor’s were discussing, but they were all having a good time and beamed smiles from a joke apparently cracked by Akeredolu, who is known for being jovial.
Akeredolu had been out of office for over Six months owing to an undisclosed illness he had been treating.
The Governor at some point traveled abroad for treatment but returned to Ibadan after three months.
His Special Adviser on Special Duties, Dr Doyin Odebowale recently on Channels TV disclosed that the Governor’s continuous stay in Ibadan, is due to the ongoing construction of a new Governors lodge in Akure, adding that the Governor has no place to stay.
