The Annual General Meeting and Public Lecture of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Ondo State chapter will hold on October 26 in Akure, the State capital.
This is contained in the official invitation card of the programme released by the executive management of the institute in Akure, the State capital few days ago.
The Director of Media and Corporate Communication at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Felix Ale, is expected to deliver the lecture, titled, “The Intersection of Journalism in Public Relations and Advertising and Its Impact on Society.”
Veteran Journalist and Academic, Dr. Dayo Duyile, will Chairman the event, which holds at Rubi Court Center, Oke Ijebu, Akure at 10am.
The lecture will elucidate the profound connection between journalism, public relations, and advertising, and its substantial influence on society.
Lamidi Ishola, Chairman of NIPR in the State in a chat with Precision Online Newspaper, noted that the lecture will explore among others how advertising professionals employ journalism as a means to reach their target audiences.
The NIPR annual event will feature award presentation to notable Nigerians, while there will be election into the various positions in the institute’s executive management.
