Nigeria @63: Keep Faith In Nigeria – Adeogun Urges Nigerians

Former member of the house of representatives, Hon. Ade Adeogun has urged Nigerians to be optimistic about the future of Nigeria, saying, the current economic situation would soon end in joy.

Adeogun also said he is convinced that the federal government is taking concrete steps to bring down the prices of products, boost workers’ welfare, promote massive investments in infrastructures and boost Nigeria’s economy.

In a statement on Sunday,he congratulated Nigerians, as they celebrate the country’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.

“I urge Nigerians to keep faith and exhibit undying love for the country by putting its interest ahead of any other.

He further said the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led government needs time and support of Nigerians to tackle inherited economic woes and actualize campaign promises”

The ex lawmaker called on government to maximize the utilization of available human and natural resources in the country, in its determination to ensure speedy overall development.

“Nigeria can only rise when you and I do what is right. The leaders and the led must come together to put the interest of the country first in whatever we do. There are enough to take care of our needs but nothing will ever be enough for our greed.”

“We have no other country we can call our own. Nigeria has what it takes to be a great country. May God raise genuine leaders for us. May God help our leaders to lead us well. May the labour of our heroes past never be in vain.”

“Happy Independence Day, Nigerians. God bless Nigeria,” Adeogun added.
