Oyetibo, Ondo CJ, Affen, Others Shower Encomiums On Benson Enikuomehin As He Opens New Chamber In Lagos

Ebutemeta Area of Lagos state came alive as dignitaries from all walks of life graced the grand Opening of Benson Enikuomehin and co, Lagos law office.

The new chamber is located at No 16, Simpson street, Ebute Metta East, Beside Evans Square, Lagos

It was a memorable event as notable personalities in the legal profession attended the epoch making event.

Among prominent Nigerians who were present at the ceremony were; the Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Olusegun Odusola,  justice of the Court of Appeal, Yola Division, Justice Peter Affen, a renowned legal luminary, Omotayo Oyetibo and the Chief Imam of Lagos Central Mosque, Alhaji Sabit Akanni Lawal.

Others are: Chairman NBA, Lagos branch, Olabisi Makanjuola, immediate past  commissioner of Agriculture, Ogun State, Samuel Odedina, former Resident Electoral Commissioner, Ondo state,  Akin Orebiyi, notable traditional rulers, clergymen among others.

Benson Enikuomehin in his speech, described legal profession as a noble one.

He said he would continue to embrace the rule of law and ensure that justice is served appropriately.

The legal practitioner thanked the people for their support and promised not to disappoint the legal profession.

“I am happy to see you all here, I am thanking God for giving me the opportunity to move to this new office. I will continue to ensure that I stand for justice”, he assured.

In his speech, chairman of the occasion and the justice of the court of appeal, Yola Division, Justice Peter Affen, described legal practice as a serious profession. It is for those who take it seriously. 

He noted that Enikuomehin’s passion for legal practice cannot be taken for granted.

He added, “It is only those that imbibe the spirit of law, that the law open doors for.

“We are celebrating doggedness. In no distance time, we will gather again to celebrate Enikuomehin”.

On his part,  a renowned legal practitioner, Omotayo Oyetibo (SAN), said Enikuomehin has not disappointed the profession.

He said we have honest judges across the country, saying he has never paid a dime to any judge.

Oyetibo added, “Enikuomehin deserves to be honoured and I am thanking God for what he has achieved.”

The Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Olusegun Odusola, urged Enikuomehin to continue to uphold the integrity of the law profession.

Odusola noted that the chamber is a standard one that is well furnished.
