… Says His Temporary Absence Was Due To Southwest Assignment
A political juggernaut and a legal czar, Chief Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni today stormed the Ondo State PDP Secretariat, Alagbaka Akure to announce his return to the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP). He said his sabbatical leave had to do with his position as Afenifere’s Secretary General. Ebiseni who said he did not have any other political party membership card other than that of the people’s democratic party insisted that he has come to serve as agent of unity, peace and unification adding that he had consulted widely with the leaders and stakeholders of the party and therefore solicited the cooperation of all in order to reclaim the sunshine state that has now slipped into utter darkness.
“You will note that I have not been that much available in the party. It is due to the assignment given to me by Afenifere organization to serve as its Secretary General which really took much of my time. I have always been a member of People’s Democratic Party and I do not have any other political party’s membership card other than that of the PDP. From now on, I will be much more available to serve as agent of unity, peace and unification. I have consulted widely with the leaders and stakeholders and solicited their full support as we strive to reclaim our dear Sunshine State from utter darkness.” Ebiseni posited.
The political czar extolled the great virtues inherent in the former governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko who he said had greatly played very pivotal role in his political life.
“During my period of consultation, I was in touch with my great leader, the former governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko and I am glad that he expressed his readiness to lend his full weight behind the party. Dr Olusegun Mimiko made me a national delegate to the 2014 Confab while I also served as commissioner for Environment under his government. He was not pleased with the infrastructural decay being witnessed in the state today especially the Mother and Child hospital, Neighborhood markets, and the free shuttle buses which had become rickety and abandoned. He had assured me of his willingness to provide relevant counsel and support that will make PDP win in the next gubernatorial election come 2024. I also consulted with Balogun Eyitayo Jegede, a two time gubernatorial candidate of the party and saluted him for his invaluable contribution to the party. He is indeed a fine gentleman”
Ebiseni thanked the staff of the party for their dedication and diligence and therefore donated money to offset their salary for the month.
Earlier, the State Chairman of the Party, Hon Fatai Adams had welcomed chief Olusola Ebiseni to the party saying his arrival would surely add great value to the party. Adams noted that the PDP cannot lose any election in Ondo State if all stakeholders cooperate.
“APC has brought the state to its knees. Nothing is working any more. We are already in December and nothing to suggest that we are approaching the yuletide. There’s no traffic at all because everybody is trying to survive the hard times. If we work together as a united front, PDP will seamlessly dislodge APC in the next year’s gubernatorial election.” Fatai Adams insisted.
Chief Ebiseni was accompanied to the Secretariat by a large retinue of supporters especially members of the Obidient Movement.
