Former Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko chapter, Dr Sola Fayose has been promoted to the rank of full Professor.
Dr Fayose in a terse message made available to Precision Online Newspaper on Monday, disclosed that the University’s Council has ratified his promotion, and he is now a full Professor of Space Physics.
The terse message tagged “Appreciation” read;
“To the glory of God, the Governing Council of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, today Monday 11th December, 2023 ratified my promotion to the status of full Professor of Space Physics with effect from 1st October, 2021. I use this opportunity to appreciate your supports throughout the path that God used to bring me to the pick of my career. E se pupo,” Fayose said.
Prof. Sola Fayose had his first stint as an academic at AAUA in 1999 when he was appointed a Graduate Assistant.
