Excitement As Ex Rep Member, Adeogun Electrifies Akoko Community

A former member of the house of representatives, honourable Ade Adeogun has been commended for his efforts at providing electricity to the residents of Etioro-Supare community in Akoko Southwest Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Etioro-Supare landlords, under the auspices of Ifesowapo Landlord Association, had met Adeogun during his campaign tour in preparation for the 2019 general election and presented to him their request, which bothered on the electrification of their neighborhood.

Adeogun, who later represented Akoko southeast and southwest federal constituency in the house of representatives, after winning the election, had in his response to their request, called for prayers to enable him look into their plight if God gave him an opportunity to serve.

Months after the completion of his four-year tenure, Adeogun delivered on their request by providing a 500KVA transformer with an extension of their electricity wires with a life wire.

Following this development, the landlord association, in a letter signed by Ariyo Olusola (Chairman) and Ogunleye J. K (General Secretary), dated 7th of December 2023, address to the former representative, read;

“The Executive members of the above named Quarters wish to express on behalf of the entire community our heartfelt (appreciate) for your magnanimous assistance in delivering us from perpetual darkness in providing a 500KVA Transformer with an extension of our Electricity wires with life wire which even the government may not be able to cough out money to do for us. We are grateful for fulfilling your promises to Ifesowapo Quarters of Etioro-Supare Akoko.”

Expressing their amazement over what Adeogun did for them, he said;

“When the news of the project work got to us in our quarters, it was a big surprise because we had lost the hope due to the fact that you lost out to your opponent. For maintaining your dignity and name in fulfilling your electoral promises to us despites all odds, we are indeed grateful.

“Our prayer for you is that God Almighty will not take away your light from you in Jesus name Amen. All your families and your generation yet unborn will not miss their blessing in Jesus name Amen.

“We equally encourage you not to back out from the good you have been doing to your constituent and those around you, the more you do to give joy to people around you the more God Almighty will be rewarding your little work.

“Once again, on behalf of the entire Ifesowapo Quarters and the entire Etioro-Supare, we say thank you and more blessings around you and all yours in Jesus name Amen.

“We wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in Advance.”
