“The NNPC plays a critical role in Nigeria’s economy, and effective management is crucial for the efficient exploration, production, and distribution of our petroleum resources. With Akinyelure at the helm, I believe we are poised for positive change and progress in the oil and gas industry.”
He, however, called on all stakeholders, including government agencies, industry experts, and the public, to support Akinyelure in his new position.
“I urge government agencies, industry experts, and the public to rally behind Pius Akinyelure and provide him with the necessary support. It is through collaboration and synergy that we can maximise the potential of the NNPC and contribute to the overall development of our oil and gas sector.”
