Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu died in Karzai, Germany and not Lagos, Nigeria as widely reported.
Also, Governor Akeredolu suffered and died from prostrate cancer and not leukemia as some news organizations reported.
The former governor was flown to Germany two Sundays ago for treatment.
His wife, children and some aides were still trying to perfect their travel papers when he died on Wednesday morning.
