Diamond Group Nigeria congratulates Nigerians as we welcome year 2024
The outgone year has been quite testy for Nigerians, in part, because of the unintended consequences of the direly needed economic reforms embarked upon by the new administration.
In spite of the challenges, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown courage, vision, tenacity of purpose and inspirational leadership in his efforts to tackle decisively the myriads of problems stalling the progress of our country.
The Group hopes that the strainous efforts of President Tinubu, and the huge sacrifices of Nigerians will begin to yield bounteous harvests in year 2024.
In line with our established tradition, the Group urges the President to:
- build an economy that will herald inclusive prosperity for Nigerians through diversification of our revenue sources, and importantly, putting to use the mammoth potential and energy inherent in our population as the biggest market in Africa.
- fund agriculture adequately to remove hunger from the society
- revamp and retool our education system in such a manner that it will be enabled to catalyse our development as a country
- decisively stamp out the insecurity incubus threatening the peace of the nation
The Group urges Nigerians to put pressures on government at other levels of governance and nudge them to faithfully complement the valiant efforts of the federal government.
Diamond Group Nigeria commiserates with the government and people of Ondo State, Owo Local Government Area, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, family and friends of the late Governor of the state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN CON.
The deceased Governor was a great Nigerian and a remarkable leader who did his best while serving his people.
The Group wishes the deceased eternal rest, and those he left behind, the fortitude to bear the loss.
As the whole country starts another momentous journey of hope today, Diamond Group Nigeria wishes the nation joy, peace and prosperity in the new year.
