The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Ondo State Area Unit has congratulated Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his emergence as the Governor of Ondo State.
Mr Aiyedatiwa became the State Governor following the passage of former Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The MSSN in a statement on Wednesday through its Amir, Ustadh Lukman Kewulere and Secretary, Mallam Abubakar Abdulganiyu Yemi, also sympathized with Mr Aiyedatiwa and the people of Ondo State on the death of Governor Akeredolu.
“Mr Governor Sir, there is no doubt that you are capable of giving Ondo State a new look and you are going to make the people of the state happier than they are presently.
“We as youth organization are ready to follow your directive in making Ondo State a better place to live for all. We wish you strength and wisdom in piloting the affairs of the state,” the statement read.
In a related development, the MSSN has sent a letter of condolence to the wife of late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu.
The MSSN in the letter disclosed that the death of Mr Akeredolu came as a shock to everyone, adding that Aketi was known with his lion heart and courage to hold the bull by its horns.
“In the last seven year as the governor of Ondo State, Akeredolu was exceptional in all his developmental projects across the state. His dedication and effort has added a meaningful growth to the Ondo State infrastructures.
“At this hour of difficulty, we request you to kindly accept our deep and sincere condolence, and please pass the same to the children and the entire family of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu. Aketi handiwork will always be remembered for good in Ondo State.”
