Former Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu was on Friday, February 23 buried in his hometown, Owo.
President Bola Tinubu, represented by his Vice, Kashim Shettima alongside all the Southwest Governors were present at the funeral service held at St Andrews Cathedral Church, Imola, Owo.
Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, mni, received the Vice President to the State.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje and Governors of Anambra, Benue, Enugu, Edo, Delta and Bayelsa States attended the funeral service.
Former Governors of Ondo, Segun Mimiko; Osun, Gboyega Oyetola; Ogun, Ibikunle Amosun and Gbenga Daniels; Ekiti, Niyi Adebayo and Kayode Fayemi; Anambra, Chris Ngige; Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal; and Zamfara, Abdulaziz Yari, were also present at the service.
