Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has reappointed Rasaq Obe and Akinwumi Sowore into the State Executive Council.
Both Obe and Sowore were the commissioners who recused themselves from signing the vote of confidence memo on late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu during the political struggle in the State.
Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor in a statement on Friday, disclosed that the names of Obe and Sowore have been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Other commissioner-nominees announced are:
- Mrs. Omowumi Isaac, ACCA
- Mr. Olukayode A. Ajulo, SAN, OON
- Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan
- Mr. Oseni Oyeniyi
Meanwhile, the Governor has also appointed the following individuals as Special Advisers:
- Hon. Olugbenga Omole, Special Adviser on Information & Strategy
- Mrs. Olamide Falana, Special Adviser on Gender Affairs
- Mr. Alabi Johnson, Special Adviser on Energy.
