Strategic Collaboration Among Security Agencies Needed For Effective Delivery – Tunji-Ojo

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo says there’s the need for sustainability of strategic collaboration amongst security agencies to sustain the gains recorded so far.

Tunji-Ojo added that it is important to also re-strategising to combat emerging threats, especially across the entire span of Nigeria border.

The Minister spoke at the 2024 Chief of Defence Staff Joint Task Force Commanders’ Conference with the theme: “Consolidating Operational Successes Across All Theatres Of Operations.”

The event held at the Defence Headquarters had in attendance major stakeholders in the security space of the country.

The discussions highlighted the quality of progress made in the fight against insecurity in Nigeria.

Speaking earlier, The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, H.E. Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle MON tasked Joint Task Force Commanders on lasting peace in Nigeria, emphasizing that their mission is to ensure lasting peace and stability of the country.

The three-day conference with the theme: “Consolidating Operational Successes across all Theatres of Operations” has in attendance key stakeholders that will reflect on past achievements of Military Operations and strategize for future endeavours.

The highlight of the Conference was the unveiling of the book titled “Complex Military Operations: Operation Hadin Kai in Perspective” written by Major General Edward S. Buba.

The Joint Task Force Commanders Conference 2024 serves as a pivotal platform for fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and devising innovative strategies to address prevailing security challenges and consolidating of Operational successes across all theatres of operations.
