Akogun Omole Receives Ondo NIPR Members As Institute Sets Agenda For Aiyedatiwa

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Strategy, Akogun Olugbenga Omole has commended the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) for its role in building the capacity of practitioners and positioning them for the effective reputation management of the brands they represent.

Ministry of Information and Orientation in a press release noted that Omole gave the commendation while receiving the members of the NIPR, Ondo State Chapter in his office on Tuesday.

He, however solicited greater support from the Institute in strengthening both the conventional and non-conventional platforms of social interaction to facilitate a more harmonious relationship that would drive better engagement between the government and the people of Ondo State.

The ex lawmaker described NIPR as a major stakeholder and commended the body for its outstanding efforts in projecting the laudable programmes of government to the populace and encouraged them to do more.

Akogun Omole also pledged to facilitate a meeting between the members of the Institute and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Speaking on behalf of the institute, the state NIPR chairman, Mr. Funmilayo Ikueduranni lauded the Ministry of Information in its handling of information and ensuring a two way communication between the government and the governed.

Mr Funmilayo commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the pland to recruit primary school teachers across the state and the light up Akure project through solar among other initiatives in the last 100 days.

He then pledged the readiness of the institute to make continue efforts in supporting the Ondo state government in planning, executing, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of its numerous policies and campaign for the good of the state.
