LG Tour: Aiyedatiwa Promises To Light Up Ilaje After Years Of Darkness

In continuation of his campaign tour to the 18 local government areas of Ondo State ahead of the Guber primary election, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa was at Odigbo and Ilaje council areas on Monday.

The Governor who was overwhelmingly received in Igbokoda by party loyalists at Mount Zion International Church and Igbokoda football field, promised to restore power supply to the area.

He explained that work had already commenced on the project with the support of the NDDC, but delayed with metering, promised to fast-track the process with the completion of Abodi/Atijare road.

Governor Aiyedatiwa received accolades, prayers and goodwill messages from the spiritual leaders at Zion International Church and royal blessings from the Amapetu of Mahin, Oba Williams Akinyomi.

Earlier at the palace of Orunja of Odigbo, Oba Rufus Akinrinmade, Governor Aiyedatiwa promised that his administration would explore all natural resources in the region for the benefit of the state.

Governor Aiyedatiwa who acknowledged the roles of traditional rulers in the state said his administration would always consult them for peaceful coexistence.

Meanwhile at the mega primary school Ore, Governor Ayedatiwa received hundreds of APC members and urged them to support his aspiration to clinch the APC ticket at the primary election.

Highlight of the occasion was the defection of former deputy speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr Iroju Ogundeji to the APC.

Deputy Governor, Olayide Adelami; Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr Olamide Oladiji; Commissioner for Information, Mr Wale Akinlosotu; Commissioner for Local Government, Alhaji Amidu Takuro were part of the governor’s entourage.
