Ondo Born Canada-Based Activist, Jimmy Adekanle JAF Arrives Akure April 9



All is now set for the arrival of Jimmy Adekanle JAF, an Ondo State born activist based in Canada in Akure on April 9.

It was gathered that Adekanle, an APC stalwart arrived Nigeria from his base in Canada few days ago.

He posted about his arrival in Lagos on his Facebook profile to confirm the news.

JAF as he is fondly called had hinted last month that he would arrive Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Before heading to Canada about a decade ago, JAF was an active player in the politics of Ondo State, with his last known political association been the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During the political struggle in the State last year, JAF was a voice against the unconstitutional power tussle which ended on December 26, following the death of late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Meanwhile, JAF is expected to get a reception honour from about 30 different groups the Akure Airport when he arrives on April 9 in the morning.

While in Ondo State, Adekunle will also announce his official declaration for the candidacy of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
