Former Chairman of Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Chief Tajudeen Akinyemi has congratulated Dr. Olayide Adelami On his nomination as a running mate to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The Owo born politician expressed his immense joy and satisfaction in the recent nomination of Dr. Olayide Adelami, as revealed in the publication of personal details of candidates contesting the forthcoming November 16, 2024 Governorship election in the State.
While congratulating Dr Adelami on his nomination in a press statement released to newsmen on Wednesday, Chief Akinyemi described the nomination as a cheering and welcoming development, based on the qualities Adelami has displayed before and in his current position.
According to Chief Akinyemi, the commitment and dedication, humility and prompt rendering of service displayed by the Deputy Governor surely won the heart of many and earned him the party Joint tickets with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The statement further revealed that with Governor Aiyedatiwa and Dr. Adelami on the ballot in the November Governorship election and the support of the good people of Ondo state both at home and in diaspora and the support of Almighty God victory is sure for the All progressive Congress Party.
Chief Akinyemi who is popularly called “Alhaji Norway” by his admirers, however, appealed to all APC supporters,party loyalists and people of the state to team up, sustain the good legacy of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and come out in large number on the 16th of November, 2024 and vote massively for the performing Governor and his Deputy.
Chief Akinyemi who could not hide his joy over the recent APC stakeholders meeting which has further strengthen and unite APC, also appreciated President Bola Tinubu, APC national Chairman, Alhaji Umar Ganduje,Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, APC leaders in Ondo state for uniting all aspirants at the just concluded primary for the common goal and victory of the party come November this year.
