Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has congratulated His Royal Majesty, the Olowo of Owo, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, over his appointment as the pioneer Chancellor, Federal University of Science and Technology, Babura, Jigawa State.
Governor Aiyedatiwa in a statement he personally signed on Saturday expressed optimism that the Monarch will bring to bare his wealth of experience on the new role.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Ondo State, I congratulate a revered monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, the Olowo of Owo, on his inauguration today as the pioneer Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Babura, Jigawa State.
“Kabiyesi, this is a well-deserved honour and a testament to your exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to education and national development.
“I have no doubt that your management expertise, wisdom and benevolence will inspire and motivate the academic populace and influence the growth of the University.
“I look forward to seeing your positive impact on the University and I wish you a successful tenure,” the statement read.
