A danish firm, Grundfos has expressed interest in working with the Ondo State Government, through the Ministry of Water Resources, Public Sanitation and Hygiene (MWRPS&H) in giving water solutions to the water needs in Ondo State.
According to the Company’s Team lead that met with Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the firm will be involved in providing expertise in the partnership on Energy efficient water solution (minimal power consumption); Renewable energy water solution; Water Solution for Ondo State Government in AFD & AfDB Projects and Capacity building sessions for Ondo State Water utility Engineers, among others.
Similarly, Mr Olukoju Clement, Communication Desk Officer, ODWC (PIU), in a press release on Thursday reports that Hon. Sunday Akinwalire, the Commissioner for Water Resources, Public Sanitation and Hygiene on Wednesday led Ondo State Water Sector delegates to pay a courtesy visit to the Minister of Water Resources & Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev.
The delegates met the minister at his office in Abuja.
The release noted that the visit was also to congratulate Prof. Utsev on his appointment as a Minister Of the Federal Republic, and the political head of the water sector in Nigeria.
A symbiotic relationship between the Federal and State water Sectors was created through the visit, while a roll-up banner was presented to the Minister on behalf of the state water sector.
