The youths in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State have been charged to work assiduously for the success of the party in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State.
This call was made by the head of Youth Bureau, Ondo State PDP Youth Directorate, Victor Oguntoyinbo at the Youth stakeholders meeting held at the party Secretariat in Akure.
Oguntoyinbo said the youths in PDP must be ready to work assiduously for the victory of the party in the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State.
In his words, ” the upcoming election is a defining moment for Ondo State. The current administration has had its opportunity, and it is evident that our State needs a new direction and the PDP offers that new direction, but it is up to us to ensure that the vision is communicated effectively and embraced by the electorate. This will require relentless effort, strategic planning and unwavering determination.
Addressing the Youths at the gathering, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State, Bashorun Tola Alabere said the party need to work tirelessly, canvass members to the party, engage in house to house campaign for the party to record victory in the forthcoming election in Ondo State.
Alabere noted that the party have a great task ahead of them and charged of youths in the party to go and preach the gospel of the PDP.
“You have to go out and canvass for the the PDP, the PDP is the only party that can deliver the country. When you work, you will be rewarded. This election is a must win for us. If we fail, (God forbid) that will be the end of the party in Ondo State”, he added.
Various party stalwarts speaking at the events, emphasized the need to woo new members to the party as numerical advantage could be a vital determinant in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State.
Highlight of the event was the swearing in of the Youth directorate committee and advisory board.
