Economy: Everyone Will Be Busy When I Become Ondo State Governor – Agboola Ajayi

The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi says when he become the Governor of the state, everyone will have one or two things to do, as a result of a viable economy.

Ajayi who gave this assurance stated this during the official unveiling of his candidature to journalists in Akure, the Ondo State capital by leaders of the PDP.

Precision Online Newspaper reports that Ondo State is one of the oil producing states in Nigeria, but lacks industrial growth, with many having the believe that the state is a salary state.

Ajayi, who disclosed that he and the elders of the PDP have brainstormed and put up a road map which would contain his plans for the State when he become the Governor.

According to him, the road map is already in place and would be made available to the public in few days.

Ajayi sought the cooperation of journalists as embark on the journey to become the 8th executive governor of the State.

The former deputy governor who added that the APC led government in Nigeria has failed, charged Ondo residents to vote for him in order to transform the state to an economic hub.

Earlier, the acting chairman of the PDP, Mr Tola Alabere said the best the party could give Ondo State is Ajayi, urging them to vote for him on November 16, 2024.

Also, Dr Eddy Olafeso, who reeled out the profile of Mr Ajayi, noted that the PDP candidate can be held accountable because he has been part of the people.

Dr Olafeso who reiterated the fact that PDP would win the state in the November 16 poll, added that there would be surprises after the election.

PDP elders and chieftains at the unveiling include, Ambassador Omolade Oluwateru; Dr Tayo Dairo; Barr. Seye Olujimi; Engr Dare Akinwae and Mr Ayo Fadaka.

Others are Rt Hon. Bakkita Bello; Mr John Ola Mafo; Hon. Lovelyn Yemi-Ese; Mr Kennedy Peretei; Mr Rasheed Elegbeleye, Mr Sam Ogunmusi among others.
