MUSGAAU Lauds AAUA VC, Ige For Appointing Aadam Dean, Faculty Of Computing

The Muslim Graduates of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State (MUSGAAU) has lauded the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Olugenga Ige for appointing Prof. Sunday Olatunji Aadam as the Dean, Faculty of Computing.

MUSGAAU in a press release made available to Precision Online Newspaper at the weekend, expressed gratitude to the VC for facilitating the return of Prof. Aadam to the institution, while also appointing him the Dean of the new faculty.

The Muslim alumni body led by the acting Chairman, Malam AbdulGafar Bello, added that the return of Prof. Aadam, one of the pioneer Muslim staff of the University, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he had been for about 15 years, would add value to the institution.

Meanwhile, a five-member delegation of MUSGAAU led by Dr. Rasheed Talabi Ayegbusi on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Aadam.

According to the MUSGAAU team who visited him, the visit was to welcome and congratulate him on his appointment.

“He is known for his significant support to Muslim students and Islam on campus. Our visit was to associate with him, discuss our vision and mission with him, understand his agenda, and liaise with him to work together for the good he is known for.

“We discussed various ways to keep supporting our brothers and sisters on campus via dawah, academic excellence, and gainful skills to navigate the present economic realities during and after university.

“We also discussed creating opportunities for our members who are resourceful in his field, academics, and generally. We also solicited his personal support for MUSGAAU as a philanthropic personality who is always eager to support any good towards humanity, his community, and pleasing to Allah,” the statement from MUSGAAU read.

On his part, Prof. Aadam appreciated the delegation from MUSGAAU, while assuring them of his support.
