The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Pastor Ayoade Babalola has described good roads and Infrastructure a necessity that must be provided by government to the people.
Pastor Babalola made this known when the Transition Commitee Chairman of Oyemekun Local Council Development Area and his members paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Akure, the State capital.
According to him, one of the visions of Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is to provide good roads and light up the major streets of various cities and towns of Ondo State, especially Akure, the State capital.
He informed the delegation that rehabilitation and covering of pot holes is ongoing in all the three senatorial districts of the State, and rural roads would be graded in order to ease transport problems for the citizenry.
The Special Adviser commended the Committe for their vision to make the L.C.D.A the best in the State and assured them of assistance at all times.
Earlier in his address, the Chairman of the transition committee, Mr. Ifedayo Ologunmeta stated that it became imperative for him and his members to visit prominent sons and daughters of the LCDA to solicit assistance for the take off and smooth running of the newly created office.
Mr Ologunmeta who said his vision is for every community to feel the presence of the LCDA solicited the assistance of Pastor Babalola and his office .
In his reaction, the Administrative Secretary of Ministry of Infrastructure, Engr. Akin Omotola assured them that the office is not resting on its oars in the provision of good roads and Infrastructures development of the State.
