73,000 Minimun Wage: Ondo Govt, Organized Labour Sign Implementation Table, Consequential Adjustment

The Ondo State Government and the Organised Labour have signed the implementation table for the new minimum wage and its consequential adjustments for all categories of workers in the State.

Sina Adeyeye of the office of the head of service in a statement on Wednesday noted that the development followed the recent approval of Seventy Three Thousand Naira minimum wage for Ondo State workers by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

“This development signals the commencement of full implementation of the new wage law effective from the 1st of November, 2024.

“The agreement, as contained in an official Circular Letter of 12th November, 2024, was jointly signed by the Government and the Labour after a seamless negotiation.

“The Labour representative at the event applauded the sincerity and genuine commitment of Governor Aiyedatiwa to workers’ welfare in the state and promised to keep giving their best on their jobs,” the statement read.
