Updated: Aiyedatiwa Wins Ondo Election, As Person With Disabilities, Nejo Adeyemi Of ADC Came Third

With all the results from the 18 local government areas of Ondo state, announced at the coalition center of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Akure, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has won the November 16 guber election.

Aiyedatiwa, who is the current governor in the state was announced by INEC’s returning officer, Prof Olayemi Akinwumi and Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja, at around 2:30pm.

He won in all the 18 LGAs of the state.

PDP candidate, Agboola Ajayi was announced the first runner-up, while Nejo Adeyemi, a person with disabilities (PWD) and ADC candidate became the second runner-up.

ZLP candidate, Abbas Mimiko came fourth.

The final results as announced by INEC:

APC – 366,781 votes
PDP – 117,845 votes
ADC – 4138 votes
ZLP – 2,692 votes
LP -1,162 votes
