The Ondo state government has enjoined residents in the state to use today’s environmental sanitation exercise to clean up their surroundings.
The General Manager of the Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Mr Adefolaju Omowole who spoke with Precision Online Newspaper on Saturday morning, disclosed that there is partial restriction on movement.
According to him, anyone caught moving about aimlessly would be arrested and prosecuted in line with the state’s law on environmental sanitation.
“Yes, we got an approval for the exercise and there is a full restriction on movement. Just that there is a few exemption this time. Those attending the FUTA convocation today, and students writing NECO examination. Anyone going about aimlessly would be arrested and prosecuted,” Omowole said.
