The founder of Achievers University, Hon. Dr. Bode Ayorinde was on Wednesday honored by the University management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) with an educational award of excellence.
Presenting the award to Dr Ayorinde, the Vice Chancellor of AAUA, Prof. Olugbenga Ige said the institution is happy to associate with him.
He said, “for a man to establish a University, nurtured it to greatness in Ondo state and Nigeria is not a tea party. That is why our University been an academic community is awarding this educational award of excellence to him.”
Reacting, Dr Ayorinde, who is also an Associate Professor of Law at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, dedicated the award to students of Achievers University.
“Since 2016, I have not received any award. But when my classmate, your Registrar, Mr Gbenga Arajulu brought the letter to me, I told him I will accept. I want to appreciate the Vice Chancellor and the management for counting me worthy,” Ayorinde said.
