Staff of the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) on Thursday shut the gate to the revenue office over non-payment of the approved N73,000 new minimum wage.
Some of the staff who spoke to our correspondent disclosed that they have been on a N55,000 wage since 2019.
They said they resorted to the protest after it was confirmed that they won’t be paid the new minimum wage for November, 2024 salary.
The staff are yet to be paid their November salary.
