Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Honourable Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, has extended his felicitations to the newly elected local government leaders in the State.
Ogunmolasuyi, in particular sent a special congratulations to Honourable Tope Omolayo, the Chairman-elect of Owo Local Government; Honourable Ibrahim Ahmed, the Vice Chairman-elect; and Honourable Aladenusi Oladapo, the Councillor-elect for Igboroko 2 Ward 3.
The Owo-born politician described their victories as a reflection of the people’s trust and confidence in their abilities to lead with integrity, transparency, and dedication to community progress.
“This election has demonstrated the democratic spirit and collective aspirations of the people of Ondo State, reaffirming the All Progressives Congress (APC) mandate as a party committed to grassroots development and inclusive governance. The newly elected leaders are urged to remain focused on delivering impacting projects, promoting good governance, and working in harmony with all stakeholders to advance the progress of their respective communities,” he said.
He also commended the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) for its remarkable effort in ensuring a fair and efficient electoral process.
“The smooth distribution of election materials across all wards and districts is a testament to ODIEC’s commitment to upholding democratic principles. Ondo State will remember the historic success achieved under your stewardship,” he noted.
He also appreciated all security agencies for their dedication and professionalism in maintaining peace and order throughout the electoral process.
Ogunmolasuyi, again thanked Mr. Governor for fostering an environment where democracy thrives and ensuring that the dividends of good governance are accessible to all.
“Once again, congratulations to all the winners. We look forward to an era of transformation, unity, and prosperity under your exemplary leadership in Ondo State,” he added.
