JCI Akure takes Free Medical Services to Ibule-Soro Community

The Junior Chambers International JCIAkure recently organized the Late Oluwafemi Ayanwale Annual Health Awareness Program, a comprehensive healthcare initiative aimed at empowering the Ibule-Soro community.

The event, held at the Ibule-Soro Community Town Hall, provided essential health services to residents, including free medical treatments for malaria, typhoid, and body aches, as well as blood pressure and sugar level checks.

The program, which saw an impressive turnout, featured personalized counseling sessions designed to promote healthier lifestyles and early detection of health issues.

The President of JCI Akure JC Bisola Aluko, while addressing beneficiaries emphasized that the initiative underscores JCI Akure commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

The JCI Akure President also extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Olubule of Ibule-Soro, healthcare professionals, partners, and volunteers for their invaluable support in making this program a success.

In addition, Olubule Of Ibule-Soro, the community monarch, lauded JCI Akure for the initiative and also called for collaboration with the organisation and the community.

Miss Oluwaseun Ogunsanmi, one of the beneficiaries, praised the organisation for the admirable healthcare initiative and advised the government, non-governmental organisations, and individuals to always prioritise healthcare services.
