Six students from the University of Ilesa (UNILESA) who sat for the Accounting Technician Scheme of West Africa (ATSWA) Part III examination under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) have achieved a 100% pass rate.
The Vice-Chancellor of UNILESA, Prof. Taiwo Asaolu who announced the feat in Ilesa on Thursday in a telephone chat, said, “we have produced the first set of Associate, Accounting Technicians in Ilesa.”
According to Prof. Asaolu, the remarkable achievement is a testament to the quality of education and training provided by UNILESA.
“The students, who are currently in their 200 level, have demonstrated a high level of dedication and commitment to their studies.
“Our achievement in producing high-quality graduates is a reflection of UNILESA’s commitment to academic excellence. This feat is expected to further boost our reputation as a citadel for producing competent and world-class professionals.
“The management and staff of UNILESA congratulate the students on their outstanding performance and urge them to continue to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits,” Asaolu remarked.
