He said the institution decided to honour to encourage him to motivate other young nigerians who setting good examples in society.

“If you do well, You should be recognized without financial attachment. It’s not every organization that needs money to give you award. When you are doing well and we can see what you are doing for societal growth, we will recognize you and that is what we have done for him, Prof. Sonaike said

Tunji-Ojo was represented at the ceremony by his mother, Madam Yinka Tunji-Ojo and accompanied by the Senior Legislative Aide, Robert Maduakoh, as well as many aides and party chieftains from his constituency.

Responding to his latest honour, the federal Lawmaker said ‘nothing brings smile to the face of any human safe the fulfilment he has knowing that he has done what makes others happy. This, to me, is the greatest accolade I have received.’

‘We stepped into the political and public space and we have been able to provide effective and responsive representation to the people of Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency.’

“Be that as it may, let me hasten to say that this is not the best we can do as we have already mapped out key areas that need intervention for the growth of our people in 2021 as well as strategies for executing all our projects which are largely pro-people.”

He also congratulated the university community and urged fresh graduands at the ceremony to face the future with renewed hope of success.

“To the graduands, Your greatest glory is not in not falling but in rising every time you fall. What will see you through is your tolerance, tenacity, endurance and respect for people you meet on your way. The world is yours to conquer!”

“I hold this award dear to my heart and I will never forget this moment in a rush.”
