Again, Achievers University’s Nursing Students Fly High In Professional Exam

Students in the Department of Nursing Science, Achievers University, Owo, have again proved their mettle by passing the just concluded Registered Nurse (RN) professional examination.


The breakdown of the results indicated that out of the 106 students examined, 98 of the students passed the examination.


Speaking on the results, the Head of the Department of Nursing, Dr (Mrs) Oluwaseun Abiodun, disclosed that the students sat for the professional examination in November, 2021 and the results was released in February, 2022.


The Pro-Chancellor of the University, Dr Bode Ayorinde who disclosed the new feat to the University Community after it was released by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), congratulated the Head of Department, Professors in the Department, as well as other Academic and Non-teaching staff.


This is not the first time the Nursing department at Achievers University would be having such huge feat.

In 2020, out of the 29 students, who were the first set of Nursing students, that sat for the midwifery professional examination, 27 of the students passed, representing a 93 percent score rate.

Similarly, in March 2021, all the Nursing students examined for the midwifery professional examination, passed with a 100 percent score rate.
