He was represented by an Educationist, Mr Sedu Ikumuyite who decried the attitudes of many particularly in rural areas for not taken their health matters seriously.

He commended Akoko northwest local government and Ondo state government for their relentless efforts in making health services available in all political wards of Ondo state.

Kilani promised to donate handsomely next year to annual babies award in the basic health centre to serve as incentive and encouragement to pregnant and nursing mothers in the area.

Kilani who was the initiator of Akoko northwest local government annual babies of the year award ceremony urged other well to do indigenes to emulate this gesture as government alone cannot shoulder the enormous responsibility of funding the health sector.

Responding, the officer in charge of the health centre Mrs Modupe Olowoyeye commended the selfless efforts of the donor who she said had been assisting the less privileged in the society.

Olowoyeye promised that the donation will be used accordingly.
