Voters Disrupt Election Process In Ikare

In unit 4, Oorun ward 1, voters have distrupted the process insisting on their rights to vote after the end of polls at 2pm.

At 4:45pm local time, some of the residents who are yet to vote spoke with The Precision NG saying they have been at the polling unit even before 8am.

According to them, the process employed by the presiding officers in the unit was too slow, hence the delay in the voting process.

Ondo State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, Bisi Orungbemi who is a voter in the polling unit noted that the unit need to be divided into three units in future because o over population of voters.

According to INEC regulations, voters are still allowed to vote so far they are on the queue at the end of polls which is 2pm.
