Oleyelogun Returns As Ondo Assembly Speaker, Other Officers Emerge

Rt Hon. Bamidele Oloyelogun has been re-elected as the speaker of the Ondo state house of assembly.

Oloyelogun was re-elected at the inaugural sitting of the 9th state Assembly held at the plenary in Akure, the state capital.

His Deputy, Iroju Ogundejiu Ogundeji was also re-elected.

The duo emerged unopposed shortly after the valedictory sitting.

Also elected to the position of majority leader was Rt Hon. Jamiu Maito while Dr Adeyemi Olayemi as Chief Whip.

Hon. Simeon Toluwani Borokini was elected as whip while Hon. Tomide Akinribido is Deputy minority leader.
