Ayorinde, who spoke through his Senior Media Aide, Olusegun Adebumiti urged PDP members in the state to come together as one family in order to transform the state from a civil service one to an industrialized state.
“I want to tell the people of ondo state that the time for industrial revolution is now.
“This is a moment of hope for the unemployed to be employed.
“This is the time to rebuild the state. It is a time of hope for decency and equal development of all the senatorial districts of the state”, he said.
The former federal lawmaker whose campaign mantra is “Hope Alive 2020”, is renowned for creating jobs with the glaring example in the establishment of the first private university in both Ondo and Ekiti states – Achievers University 12 years ago.
The Precision NG recalled that on April 5, 2020, Dr Ayorinde made known his ambition to contest the governorship seat with emphasis on industrialization of the state.
“Given the opportunity to serve, my mission is to industrialise Ondo State, create wealth and provide gainful employment for our teeming citizens. That has been my concern, my consistent sermon and my mission in government.
“So, 1st on my priority list is Industrialisation, 2nd is Industrialisation, and the 3rd is Industrialisation. Seek yea the kingdom of God first, all other things shall follow. If we are able to Industrialise Ondo State, thereby creating wealth and jobs, all other infrastructure will definitely be achieved in record time.
“We can do it and be self sufficient rather than continue to depend on Abuja allocations before we can pay salaries”, Ayorinde said.
According to the legal practitioner Ondo State, the 5th amongst the nine oil producing States in the Federation deserves better leadership.
“After 44 years of its creation, Ondo State must stop crawling. It must stand right and be counted amongst self sufficient states in Nigeria”, he said.
