The former chairman of the Nigerian Human Rights Commission, Professor Chidi Odinkalu has advised the federal government to reciprocate its “change begins with me” campaign by cutting the huge cost of governance.
Prof. Odinkalu during an interview on Channels TV programme “politics today” described the recent campaign launched by the federal government as belated having spent 16 months already.
According to him, the federal government “change begins with me” campaign should have been launched the day the government of President Buhari took over power on May 29, 2015.
He said the federal government must address the present recession in the country by cutting the cost of governance and not to pass the buck to Nigerians.
