Alex Iwobi’s fine run of form shows no sign of being interrupted by the current international break.

The 20-year-old has been one of Arsenal’s leading lights this season,
playing superbly on the left of Arsenal’s attacking front line.

Heading to Nigeria for a World Cup qualifier against Zambia could
have proved an unwelcome distraction, however Iwobi has simply continued
his fine run of form.
He scored his first ever senior international goal to open the scoring
in Ndola, finding the back of the net with a half-volley in the 32nd
minute.

Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho grabbed a second 10 minutes
later as Nigeria beat Zambia 2-1 to top Group B in their bid to qualify
for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
