The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has again claried the air on where recovered funds from looters are kept.

The commission said this while reacting to a question posed by a Nigerian on its Twitter handle @officialefcc.
It noted that recovered funds from looters are kept in the consolidated revenue account of the federal government.
However, a Nigerian sarcastically requested for the account number of the consolidated revenue in order to verify the amount of monies available in the account.
The sarcastically handler of the EFCC account however did not respond to the prank put forward by the Nigerian.
Nigerians have raised many questions in the past as to the amount of monies recovered so far from looters of government money.
They urged the federal government to invest the money on the dwindling economy instead of borrowing loans to finance budget expenditure.
